Great Things 12/9-12/15

So I forgot I made this blog but I remembered earlier today and Have decided to start writing in it religiously. I have so many thoughts in my head it seems like I need a place to release them all so this is where that will happen. I have also decided I will make a weekly post called "Great Things" and it will be a list of things I have encountered over the week and think are great. So here you go.

Great Artist: Tay Zonday
Tay Zonday is a sing and musician I heard about and looked up on you tube. His voice is very unique and he has an interesting style of musit. I find his song Hypnotising. Not only is he a great singer/pianist, he is a great song writer. Some of his songs are about issues in the world, others are just fun quaky songs. What I love most about him is the fact that you can see the joy he gets from creating music in his face. It brings a smile to my own face. Im having a hard time posting his video so I will post the link instead.

Great Photo: Invasion:America by Jensen Walker

This photo series depicts an America we have never seen before. It gives us a chance to see what it would be like if the US was invaded by the Middle East. I love this series not because of the political statement but because it challenges your reality. It makes you think. And that is the point of Art. There is nothing worse than art that's "pretty" but not thought provoking.

I Can't Sleep

I cant sleep.
So I made a blog account.
I've never had a blog before so please, bear with me.

Like I said, I can't sleep. I hate that. My body is exhausted but my mind wont stop racing. And its not like I'm thinking about anything important its all just crap like "I need to buy paper" "My eye itches" "I wonder how many tacks are in my ceiling" "eww what if there are scorpions in my ceiling" "How many legs do scorpions have?" Its just stupid. So I logged on and surfed some videos (which you should all check out!) and now I'm just typing this. So um yeah. Here are some cool videos I think you should go watch if, like me, you cant sleep. or if you're bored.

Sam The Thieving Seagull
How cool is this bird? I guess hes a regular. He check to see if the cost is clear, steals a bag of chips, then shares it with the other birdies.
